for 1908, 26in. replacement nitro barrels, rib engraved 'THOMAS HORSLEY & SON. MAKER. YORK.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and 3/4 choke, elongated Rogers patent action with fluted fences, toplever engraved '1', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, fine acanthus scroll engraving, retaining some original colour-hardening, 15in. figured Prince of Wales semi-pistolgrip stock with horn pistolgrip-cap and including 3/4in. leather covered recoil pad, slim fore-end, finely shaped at the tip and with grip-catch release engraved '1', weight 5lb. 6oz., in a slimline leather motor case.
